Why can month-end results differ from another calculator?
Months have different lengths. We add whole years, then whole months, clamping to the last valid day at each step. January 31 to March 30 is 1 month and 30 days under this convention. The calculation steps show each anchor.
How are February 29 birthdays handled?
This tool uses February 28 in a non-leap year and restores February 29 in a leap year. Birthday dates and target-age dates use the same convention. This is not a legal eligibility rule.
Does the range count include the first and last date?
Elapsed days measure the gap between dates: the same date gives zero. In Date range mode, turn on “Include both dates” to count calendar dates instead: the same date gives one. Weekends and holidays are included.
Which time zone is used for today?
The Today button reads the current date in Asia/Colombo when clicked. It does not depend on your device’s time zone or the website build date. No dates are saved or sent to a calculation service.
Dates are calculated in your browser. Today uses Asia/Colombo; other calculations have no time-of-day or daylight-saving adjustment.
